My wife and I really enjoyed the food here. The staff were friendly and welcoming and quick. The food arrived faster than we expected considering we ordered griled items. We loved the lamb ribs and lamb shank. The ribs were phenomenal. We appreciated the complimentary bread with sauces. The drink was a pleasant surprise in how it was presented. I would recommend this place for sure. Hoping to come again

It's my first timr herr at ASKIM'S. They helped my husband organise the birthday surprise for me. All the staff are friendly, especially Umut and Roman who took care of our table on that night. Overall expereince is amazing! Food and beverages were good, but the best is the service! Thank you!
first time here after hearing lots of people recommend this place, and it definitely went over an expectations my family and i had! the garlic mushroom starter was especially delicious (highly reccomended) along with the main, lamb ribs, even the latte to go with! the staff are lovely, Sal was our waiter and was so friendly and funny! Will definitely be coming here regularly, so nice to finally have a really nice restaurant in scarborough.
Incredible restaurant. Our first time visiting and we would recommend to anyone. Food was delicious, generous portions and very good value for money! Sal our server put his all in to ensuring we enjoyed ourselves. He is a credit to the team! Thank you again!
2nd we’ve been an absolutely love the place. Top class service along with excellent food. Been both times with our young daughter & staff have been amazing with her even treating her to free ice cream & lollipops. Excellent service & certainly recommend!
My father in-law has been raving to us about Askim's for quite a while now, so my partner agreed to have her birthday meal here and I'm so glad she did. To say I'm a working class lad from Wakefield I've eaten at some very nice places including Michelin star restaurants that over look lake Geneva. I'm not comparing Scarborough to Geneva but I'm definitely comparing Askim's to Michelin star level food. I genuinely can't explain to you how good the food was because when food is that good it becomes an experience that's personal to you. The service was second to none and moved like a well rehearsed dance, full plates appeared and empties vanished, our drinks never saw the bottom without a polite member of staff asking if we'd like another. My children enjoyed the high fives and fist bumps from the staff, which made them feel at ease in a predominantly adult atmosphere. Oh and dont get me started on the dessert. Baklava with it's crisp shredded pastry, rose scented syrup and scoop of ice-cream should come with a warning label for addiction. It's no wonder that my in-laws eat here regularly because it's genuinely a very special place and I can't wait for my second visit.
Amazing! Best meal I’ve had out in a long time. Everything, and I mean everything was delicious, well cooked, authentic and full of flavour. I was really impressed with the lamb ribs I had (photo attached) and would highly recommend them. The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were warm and welcoming and added to the vibe of the restaurant. The decor was nice and modern and felt inviting also. We ordered a mocktail and the theatre of the drink was greatly appreciated being saved in a smoked filled jar for a bit of wow. If you’re in Scarborough this place is definitely worth a visit, truly a hidden gem. We will definitely return if staying in Scarborough again.
If I could leave it more, I would! Travelled from Newcastle for the weekend, and chose this restaurant for its reviews. It really didn’t disappoint. The staff were SO hospitable, I’ve never experienced such happy & helpful staff in years. Not only this, the restaurant was packed, but well spaced out and service was amazing! Food was even better. I went for the Chicken Guvec, and my partner went for the Lamb, and Baklava for dessert. 10/10 all round! Will definitely be adding it to the road trip list to try again!!
